Preparing the Meat

People always ask what makes Costa’s pork, beef, and chicken taste so good.  Well, what sets us aside from our competitors is the timely preparation process that we use here at Costa’s Famous.

First, our meats arrive fresh, not frozen, and are unpacked to undergo a 24 hour wet marination process in Costa’s special seasonings and sauces.  Next, the meat is removed from the marinade, hand butchered, and injected with additional spices blended specifically for Costa’s Famous.

Finally, the meats are placed over an open hickory wood flame to be grilled or smoked to perfection. At Costa’s our motto is, “from the pit to the plate”.

Preparing the Sides and Salads

Costa’s is also know for its fabulous side dishes and salads.  All of Costa’s sides and salads are made in-house every day of the week. 

From the potato salad to the baked beans, Costa’s original recipes are prepared with fresh ingredients delivered daily by local produce vendors.  Costa’s also home-makes their creamy salad dressings and dipping sauces.

Preparing the Desserts

There’s nothing more Southern than a delicious slice of homemade pie, and at Costa’s Famous we bake them fresh for you...just like grandma. 

Costa’s pies have hand packed crusts and thick cream filling to perfectly complete any meal. Our bread pudding topped with rich praline sauce is an original recipe like no other.  Costa’s old fashion milk shakes are made with real ice cream and hand spun to perfection.
